Mouth blown glass oil bottle

Mouth blown glass oil bottle

Oil blower (or vinegar) blown by mouth by a master glassmaker installed in Biot near Antibes in the Alpes Maritimes.

In the 1950s, a craftsman mistakenly created a glass containing bubbles. It was an immediate success and Biot made history by managing to master the bubble, trapping it between two layers of glass, thus making a defect a trademark.

Each model is unique. We decorated it with a valve spout also made in France.

Capacity: about 30 cl
